Empowering Leaders.
Strengthening Organizations.
Building the Kingdom.
BOOK
This book was born out of discontent with the reality of leadership—a reality shaped by authoritarianism and power. It comes from years of experience with different leaders who left their mark on my life: some very negatively, but many in deeply positive ways. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has led me, from whom I’ve learned both what to do and what to avoid.
In a world where leadership is equated with power, how can dependence lead to transformation?
The evangelist Mark recounts that Jesus Christ chose to enter human history, embracing our fragility and fully living among us. This act not only revealed the glory of God and His redemptive plan for humanity but also demonstrated Jesus Christ’s leadership—rooted in closeness, love, and a commitment to redemption.
This incarnational model teaches that leading by the Name involves, among other factors, being present. Like Jesus Christ, we are called to deeply engage with the lives of those we lead, fostering healthy leadership and producing meaningful results.

Unveiling the Paradox of Transformation in Dependence
André Oliveira, Executive Director of Pregue a Palavra, shares a powerful insight on the book:
“The world we live in confuses leadership with status, prestige, and human recognition. Many Christian leaders, whether preachers or administrators, face a culture that exalts charisma over character, values numbers more than faithfulness, and replaces the teaching of Scripture with the superficiality of religious entertainment. The prevailing pragmatism in our culture favors leaders without foundations, guiding God’s people without a clear and secure biblical direction.”
