With this commitment to transformative mentorship, Lead by the Name Mentoring Certification Program (MCP)—an exclusive, invitation-only initiative designed for christian leaders. Through 24 hours of intensive, hands-on training, participants will refine their mentoring skills by engaging in interactive lectures, case studies, and structured assignments. The curriculum blends biblical principles with modern leadership strategies, equipping mentors with essential competencies such as active listening, resource management, and digital tool proficiency.

At Lead by the Name, mentoring is a personalized, structured, yet relational process designed to foster the personal, professional, and leadership growth of the mentee. This relationship is characterized by the mentor serving as an encourager, guide, and role model, providing wisdom, insights, and practical tools to help the mentee navigate challenges and maximize their potential.

 

Core Components of Mentorship

  • Leadership Development: Enhancing decision-making, emotional intelligence, and vision casting.

  • Develop personalized, organic, and structured mentorship approaches aligned with Kingdom values.

 

Certification Details:

  • Duration: 24-hour intensive training.

  • Modes: Online, in-person, or hybrid.

  • Assessment: Lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and structured assignments.


3. Target Audience & Pre-Requisites

  • Christian leaders invited by Lead by the Name.

  • Pastors and leaders who are passionate about mentoring and leadership development.

  • Individuals committed to integrating faith-based mentorship into their ministry.

  • A strong commitment to serving in the Lead by the Name Mentorship Program.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Invitation from Lead by the Name. 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role in their field.

  • Formal or Non-Formal training or certification in their field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Alignment with the mission and Statement of Faith of Lead by the Name.
