In Search of a Visionary Leader: El Shaddai's Mission to Advance the Gospel in Brazil.
Situated in Boa Vista, Roraima, up in the northern reaches of Brazil, Igreja Batista El-Shaddai stands as a close-knit community, comprised of 100 dedicated members and regular attendees. Aligned with the Southern Baptist denomination in Brazil, the church is steadfast in its commitment to the profound teachings of God's word. The worship is marked by unwavering devotion, with a focus on fellowship, weekly communal worship experiences, and a steadfast dedication to mission and active community involvement.
Nestled in a city near the Venezuela border, the community acknowledges the strategic importance of our location, given the significant influx of migrants from Venezuela into Brazil. In response, the church aims to embody God's love and concern for His people, taking on the responsibility of sharing the gospel in this dynamic context.
Recently, the church extended an invitation to Lead by the Name to join in their pastoral succession process. With a successful track record in concluding a pastoral succession project in Sao Paulo, Lead by the Name is eager to continue its Kingdom service by aiding churches in navigating pastoral transitions.
Our thorough process is designed to minimize the risk of appointing an unsuitable candidate. Guided by a team of seasoned consultants specializing in Church and ministries organizations, we conduct a comprehensive assessment of the church. This thorough evaluation aims to pinpoint specific characteristics and doctrinal principles crucial for selecting the right individual to lead the congregation into the upcoming season.
The assessment process encompasses both online meetings and in-person visits. Our team is enthusiastic about serving this local community and collaboratively discovering the ideal person to lead the church through these new season. We invite you to join us in prayer, seeking success in this process and trusting that God has already chosen the right individual for this community.
