Eduardo Mendes

Eduardo Mendes, founder of Lead by the Name, is a passionate advocate for Christ-centered leadership. Married to Heloyse and father of Luca and Nathan, he serves as pastor of Comunidade Cristã em Português in Colorado Springs and has been a consultant with Spoken Worldwide for more than four years.

With a strong academic foundation, Eduardo combines more than 30 years of cross-sector experience with a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Leadership, as well as an MBA and a Master’s in Leadership and Strategic Planning.

His journey is marked by mentoring and by creating processes that empower people and organizations, leading international projects in West Africa, Brazil, and the U.S. A specialist in strategic frameworks and multicultural team management, his work focuses on scaling sustainable initiatives and strengthening organizational infrastructure to equip local leaders.

In his free time, he devotes himself to his greatest passion: family.
