Recognizing the limited exposure to the gospel in these rural regions, the church is committed to closing that gap.
Recognizing the vital role churches play in advancing the spread of the gospel, the First Baptist Church of Teresina is wholeheartedly committed to this mission. Several months ago, Lead by the Name was invited to join PIB de Teresina, offering expertise in organizational development. Driven by a commitment to legacy and a conviction to spread the gospel throughout Piauí, our team accepted this meaningful invitation. Last October, Lead by the Name president Eduardo Mendes was invited to spend a weekend at the church, taking part in observations, meetings with leaders, and preaching a sermon — a blessed time of learning about PIB Teresina.
Lead by the Name’s approach to every project involves a thorough assessment that goes far beyond a simple questionnaire. It is a comprehensive examination that begins with building strong relationships. This process allows us to identify needs and gaps and design initiatives that align closely with their reality. Committed to actively supporting PIB Teresina, Lead by the Name is helping implement its new church structure, bringing its vision to life and shaping the trajectory of the next decade through strategic planning. Through ongoing consulting meetings between the Lead by the Name team and the church, we aim to deliver a comprehensive plan that drives substantial progress. Ultimately, this strengthens the church’s capacity to serve as a transforming force for the gospel in Piauí, Brazil.
